VBS 2011 Final day. fotos

VBS Final day Programme 8th may

Vacation Bible School was held at our church from the 1st of may thro'8th of may 2011.In this year 120 children took part and only 11 children were from our church and rest of them from the pavement dwellers community.The finakl day programme was held at our church at 6:00pm on the 8th of may.Rev.T.Kumar,CSI Tucker church and his wife Mrs.Cynthia Kumar were chief guests.Rev.T.Kumar preached and Mrs.Cynthia gave away the prizes to children.Local pastor's wife Mrs.Angelin Anbukumari gave away the certificates and gifts to Volunteers and Teachers
Children loved to recite the memory verses they were taught in their classes.Parents and general public enjoyed the dances,skits and every acts of the chidren in the programme.Mrs.Suganthi, the director presented the VBS report before the end of the programme.
In all these days lunch were provided to all the children and little snacks and cool drinks were also given to them.Members of the congregation volunteerly  sponsored the eatables.The secretary Mr.Johnson Jayakumar was present in all these days supervising and guiding the directors Mrs.Suganthi and Mrs.Milukumari. In this year VBS 14 Teachers and 6 Volunteers worked to glorify the Love of God.There were good fellowship and meaningul interaction among the Teachers and students.The church joins with the pastor to thank all the VBS Teachers who have laboured a lot and also volunteers for their Non stop job.

Gospel Meeting 2nd and 3rd April 2011.

CSI churches boadway, chennai   unitedly organised a lenten Gospel meeting on 2nd and 3rd April.This was held at CSI Bishop Corrie Higher sec.school.Dr.John Solomon ,founder of Miracle ministry International was the main speaker on these days.His wife and Son conducted the praise and worship .Wesly Tamil church,Tucker church,william charles and st.Mark church unitedly formed a Choir under the leadership of Re.T.D.Albert.
